For Immediate Release: Bryant Park West
THIS NOVEMBER 22, “BRYANT PARK WEST” BRINGS NEW YORK’S RUNWAYS TO SONOMA, WITH EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION AND APPEARANCE BY PROJECT RUNWAY STAR RAMI KASHOU
Sonoma, CA - Now calling all Bay Area fashionistas and fans of
Project Runway; at 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, Sonoma Valley’s
elegant Jacuzzi Winery transforms into a New York runway as benefit
fashion show “Bryant Park West” delivers the hottest fall, winter
and holiday styles from S.F.-based Maneater Threads—-including 12
exclusive pieces from Hollywood A-list designer and Project Runway
star Rami Kashou, who will be in attendance. All proceeds from the
fashion show will benefit local Sonoma Valley charity, “Operation
Youth,” the teen services organization behind programs like Teen
Safe Ride, The Shop and the No Name Café.
Producer and Sonoma native Sarah Haggberg of J for Jordan
Productions has worked with acclaimed designers in San Francisco,
New York and throughout the Bay Area.
“The concept for this event is to take my fashion show experience
working with top designers at Olympus Fashion Week in Bryant Park
and create a New York styled show in Sonoma. Fashion lovers will be
in heaven as they spend a stylish evening in the Wine Country,
indulging in the latest fashion trends along with a delicious taste
of Sonoma Epicurean catering and Jacuzzi’s exquisite wines,” says
Haggberg. “Guests will also have an opportunity to mingle with
designers, stylists and even purchase what they see in the show
that night.”
In addition to the main event, a raffle will furnish winners with
designer shoes, jewelry featured in the show, a day with a personal
stylist, and much more. In addition, participants who sign up in
advance for the pre-raffle contest will enter to win a local
shopping spree at a Sonoma boutique—either The Loop or Angelique—
for an outfit to wear the evening of the event. This winner will
also receive a complimentary fashion consultation in choosing the
ensemble, as well as hair and makeup done by a professional fashion
show crew.
Maneater Threads’ fashion-forward styles have already attracted
national buzz from Lucky Magazine, DailyCandy, Nylon and others, with
founder Tanya Zilinskas Naouri creating a savvy and cohesive feel by
handpicking each piece featured on the site, which spotlights
up-and- coming designers that can’t be found in mainstream
retailers or department stores. More information can be found at www.maneaterthreads.com.
Rami Kashou is a rising star among America’s next generation of
Hollywood designers, and his glamourous couture has graced
celebrities from Jessica Alba to Dita von Teese. The runner-up on
Season 4 of Bravo’s Project Runway, Rami became an instant favorite
for his elegant yet innovative vision. Go to www.ramikashou.com for
more information.
Jacuzzi Family Vineyards is located in the heart of the Sonoma-
Carneros region, a mere 45 minutes north of San Francisco. The
18,000-square-foot winery is modeled after the Jacuzzi family home
in Udine, Italy. Under magnificent pieces of Italian art, Venetian-
style glass chandeliers and handmade furnishings, visitors can
sample award-winning wines including Barbera, Chardonnay, Merlot,
Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Primitivo and Sangiovese.
Operation Youth, the beneficiary of the show’s proceeds, provides
safe spaces for Sonoma Valley teens through its main initiatives:
The Shop Limited, now in its tenth year, is a drug-and-alcohol-free
music venue run by teens; the No Name Cafe at Sonoma Valley High
School provides a multipurpose venue for everything from art
programs to work experience and academic tutoring; and Teen Safe
Ride keeps the roads safe by offering taxi vouchers home to teens
in an unsafe situation.

class seats on the runway and a 7 p.m. pre-show cocktail party;
